The 39-year-old Australian pop star leads a hectic lifestyle since she combines working in showbiz, running fashion label Project D and looking after Ethan, the baby son that she and partner Kris Smith welcomed last July.

Despite being so busy Dannii always manages to look gorgeous, and has revealed one of her top tips for remaining beautiful when time is of the essence.

When I'm under pressure to get out of the door I keep it natural and stick to the same make-up I wear day-to-day. I don't try new, techniques or products, attempt to copy something I've seen in a magazine or start applying false eyelashes, she explained in a MyDaily blog post.

The last thing I want is to find myself scrubbing my face off after catching sight of myself in the car mirror on the way to dinner.

Dannii has come to understand the products of her cosmetics bag well after years of doing her own make-up, and has urged ladies to follow her example. According to the star, its important to spend plenty of time trying out different cosmetics looks from the comfort of your own home.
