(Cover) - EN Showbiz - David Arquette is fine after his car accident yesterday and has joked he has dragon's blood running through [his] veins.

The 39-year-old actor was rushed to a Hollywood hospital yesterday after suffering a head-on car collision.

According to reports, the star was driving in West Hollywood when his car hit oncoming traffic. Fire trucks raced to the scene and took him to safety.

The star was eager to let fans know he was well, and hadnt lost his sense of humour, so he took to social-networking site Twitter from his bed at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He made reference to troubled actor Charlie Sheen, who has been coining some unique catchphrases such as winning and tiger blood lately.

"I got into a car accident but I'm fine," tweeted David.

"Luckily I have dragon's blood running through my veins. Haha Thank you for all your concern (sic)."

The actor had also warned his Twitter followers that they should always wear a seatbelt, lamenting that he wished he had been.

Apparently Davids silver Cadillac is severely damaged, while the actor himself is believed to have suffered minor head injuries.

David hasnt been having an easy time lately. Last October he and actress Courteney Cox announced they were taking a trial separation from their marriage, with David going on to party hard and give a series of bizarre interviews. In January he entered rehab for alcohol and depression issues, and has since said he is a changed person. (C) Cover Media
