December 31, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Akshay Kumar seems to have become a bit sensitive about his film Tees Maar Khan. When the truth was said, he was not ready to accept it as thats what David Dhawan had said about the film and this irked the actor to a great extent.

Tees Maar Khan has been touted to become one of the major blockbuster movies of 2010 until it released, but after December 24th while critics have given unsavory comments, the audience have not embraced it with open hands either. So, at Anil Kapoors birthday party on the same day, the director who loves to tickle the audiences funny bones criticized Tees Maar Khan and commented that it bombed at the box-office.

The remark that David made reached Akkis ears and the actor didnt lose anytime in picking up the phone and giving the director a piece of his mind. To this, Dhawan was prompt enough to apologize to Kumar since he didnt want to burn the bridges with Akshay, as the actor is starring in Rohit Dhawan;s film. Rohit , the son of David has given Akki an integral part of his debut venture Desi Boyz.

A source said that though David might make such comments about films, he never means them as he just loves to gossip and theres never any malice in his comments. On the other hand, when the director was asked about the incident, he said that he never made any such comments about Akshays film.
