Deepika's 'Live Love Laugh' Foundation to launch a new campaign

30th March 2016

Deepika Padukone had talked about her fight over depression last year in open, which gave birth to her non profit organisation 'Live Love Laugh'. The organisation's main aim is to create awareness about mental stress and depression.

Now the actress has taken another step ahead by launching an awareness campaign named 'You Are Not Alone'-a program focussing on educating high school students and teachers on stress, anxiety and depression.

The campaign will start from her Sophia High School in Bangalore, where she pursued her schooling and will cover over 200 other schools.

Schools can be a good start up for the campaign as the young generation fall prey to mental stress and depression at an early age. The campaign will start in May, but majority work will begin in June when the fresh academic session starts.

"Our aim is to bring the issue of mental health from the shadows, of being spoken of in hushed tones, to our drawing rooms," the actress concluded.
