Demi Moore daughter sentenced for underage drinking

31st July 2012

Demi Moore and Bruce Willis' daughter Scout Willis has been sentenced for underage drinking and won't be going to jail.

The 21-year-old has been ordered to complete two days of community service and told to stay out of trouble for the next six months.

The former Hollywood couple's offspring reportedly earned brownie points with prosecutors for her clean record and outstanding grades at American Ivy League University Brown.

"Scout's getting off pretty easy... she worked out a deal with prosecutors in which they agreed to dismiss the case entirely if she completes two days of community service and stays out of trouble for six months," TMZ reports.

The young woman was arrested in New York City back in June for allegedly drinking a Pakistani beer in Union Square. Aged 20 at the time, she was just under the legal US drinking limit of 21.

When she was approached by police, she allegedly tried to use a fake ID in the name of Katherine Kelly, but eventually admitted it wasn't hers.

Scout was subsequently charged with criminal impersonation and having an open container in public both misdemeanours.
