The American actress and former model married Charlie Sheen in 2002, and the pair have two daughters together, Sam and Lola.

Denise filed for divorce in March 2005, and briefly sought marriage counselling in a bid to mend their relationship - however in January the following year Denise's representative confirmed she was continuing with the divorce, and she later sought a restraining order against Charlie, following his alleged death threats against her.

Despite her highly publicised marriage breakdown, Denise insists she'd love to tie the knot again.

"I loved being married and I loved being a wifefor the short time that I was," she told E! Online. "I love men and I love being in love, so I know I will definitely meet the right someone some day."

Denise has revealed the qualities she looks for in a prospective partner. The beauty, who adopted a baby girl this year, Eloise Joni, would want her beau to be able to handle her brood.

"I'm attracted to men with children and obviously someone who is great with kids and could be a very good role model.

Denise's recent adoption was a well-kept secret. The 40-year-old star appreciates the fact that her friends and family didn't reveal her plans.

"I was so grateful to the few people that I did tell. They kept it a secret and were very loyal and protective," she explained.

"I started the process almost two years ago. There were times it was discouraging, when I thought I was going to adopt and then it didn't happen. But I've always wanted more kids." (C) Cover Media
