Already busy with two of his on going films (Mayakkam Enna and 3), Actor Dhanush has signed two new projects. While one of them has been titled, the other is yet to get a name. But we have some interesting details about them.

The actor has signed a project for Aascar Films Pvt Ltd and a new film for UTV Motion Pictures. V.Ravichandran of Aascar and G.Dhananjayan of UTV Motion Pictures have confirmed this development, saying their projects with Dhanush will kick off soon.

In the meantime, the national award winning actor will start 'Maareesan' soon, to be directed by Chimbudeven. 'Maareesan' is said to be a fantasy film, which has the 12th century backdrop. The movie reportedly features Genelia D'Souza and Hansika Motwani in the female lead roles.

Soon after Deepavali, Dhanush's 'Mayakkam Enna' directed by his elder brother Selvaraghavan will make it to theatres. 'Dhanush is currently shooting for '3' directed by wife Aishwarya, after which he will start his other projects,' sources say.
