Actress Parineeti Chopra has come a long way. Starting off her Bollywood career with 'Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl', she went on to play the lead in 'Ishaqzaade' and earned great reviews for the same.
While everyone knows that Parineeti is one of B-Town's favourite actress Priyanka Chopra's cousin, they also think that the latter is the reason why Parineeti got a chance to enter the film industry.
But Parineeti clears the air stating that she didn't get her first break because of Priyanka. Apparently, Maneesh Sharma who directed 'Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl', knew Parineeti very well and that's how he approached her.
Parineeti's father always told her that she was a tomboy and should behave feminine and reserved at times. It was then when fashion designer Tuhin who is also her good friend, gifted her a gown that he created in one night, after being informed that he was selected for a show.
