Dita Von Teese says she is feeling "grateful" and "fortunate" after Thanksgiving.

Many stars took to Twitter to share their joy after a wonderful holiday.

The burlesque beauty had a low key day with her family and closest friends

"A perfect thanksgiving evening with family and friends, feeling grateful and fortunate," she tweeted.

Paris Hilton also had a great time with her family yesterday. The socialite rushed back from her holiday in Hawaii, where she has been shooting her latest bikini calendar.

"Had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner with my family," she wrote. "Love them all so much! :) Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving ."

Benji Madden celebrated with his twin and fellow Good Charlotte member Joel Madden. Joel's wife Nicole Richie cooked up a feast for her extended family.

"Thankful for my happy healthy family. Great day at my twins house, feelin blessed. F**K YEAH thanxgiving. Thank you Jesus," he typed.

Pamela Anderson had a different approach to the day. The vegan visited animal sanctuary, The Gentle Barn, to feed rehabilitated turkeys.

She posted a picture of her favourite turkey, named Monty, along with a holiday message.

"Feeding Monty at GentleBarn Happy Thanksgiving !" she wrote.

However, not everyone was so delighted after the busy day. Tori Spelling was tired after all the preparation for her family meal.

"Anyone else need a vacation after Thanksgiving?" she asked. "TG dinner prep is like hard core culinary boot camp  ExhaustingHoliday.
