(Cover) - EN Movies - Ed Helms has described Bangkok as a "tropical metropolis".
The 37-year-old actor visited Thailand's capital to film the sequel of the hit comedy The Hangover and explained that he found the city "overwhelming".
The Hangover: Part II sees a group of friends travelling to the country to celebrate Stu's wedding, who is played by Ed.
The star, who acts alongside Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha in the successful comedy series, says that he was overwhelmed by the extreme conditions in the Southeast Asian country.
"Bangkok is a tropical metropolis. It's hot and steamy and incredibly urban, like huge skyscrapers mixed with poverty all around it. It's just totally mind-blowing," he said in an interview with MTV.
Ed is unsure as to how tourists can relax in the densely populated city. The Hollywood star says he was overcome by the vast amount of people whilst shooting for the Todd Phillips-directed film.
"It's just an unbelievably dense place and it's so colourful and eclectic and stimulating and overwhelming. Even as a tourist with nothing to do but have fun, it's overwhelming. If you have to work there, it's brutal," he added. (C) Cover Media
