After the super success of Salman Khan starrer 'Ek Tha Tiger', a controversy has hit the film.
According to sources, writer Anand Panda has filed a complaint at the Amboli Police Station against the makers of 'Ek Tha Tiger', claiming that they have stolen his script.
Panda claims that he had approached YRF with his script somewhere in 2011, which they had rejected, but when he saw the film he was taken aback to see the striking similarities between the film and his script. He suggests that parts of his script have been utilized without providing him any compensation.
The writer has filed a complaint with consent from Film Writer's Association (FWA) and an FIR has been registered against producer Aditya Chopra and director Kabir Khan. An appeal has been made in the Bombay High Court where the case is being heard.
The verdict is expected to be announced soon.
