Ekta Kapoor has been on a roll since quite some years now. Like her television productions, her production ventures in films too have proved quite fruitful. She has been known to team up with various unconventional stars and filmmakers.

And now she is all set to collaborate with director Mohit Suri who touched his career peak after the super success of his last directorial venture "Murder 2". Reportedly the head honcho producer Ekta Kapoor was heavily impressed with Mohit’s direction in "Awarapan’" and more recently his style of helming the film "Murder 2" appealed to her as well. And now that she is launching one after other films under her banner, she wasted no time in signing him to helm a film for her production house.

Mohit Suri himself confirmed the story but exclaimed that he would first helm "Aashiqui 2" and only later take up Balaji’s film. “It’s too early to talk about the film. I’ll be next working on "Aashiqui 2" and only later will I work out on the film with Balaji,” said Mohit.
