(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ellen DeGeneres says her main birthday wish is to receive a lock of Justin Biebers hair.

The hit US talk show host celebrates her 53rd birthday today, and rather than asking for extravagant gifts the star has kept her wishes simple. Ellen is a massive fan of Canadian singing sensation Justin, 16, who is famed for his silky locks.

The star took to her Twitter page yesterday to make her gift requests. Ellen said she would love for the world to live in harmony, although she would also be content with a strand of Justins smooth tresses.

All I want for my birthday is world peace, and a lock of @JustinBiebers hair (sic), she wrote on Twitter.

Although the demand may have seemed far-fetched, it would appear Justin is willing to oblige. The heartthrob told Ellen he would be happy to lose just one strand to grant Ellen her birthday wish.

@TheEllenShow I think I can make that happen, Justin replied via the social-networking site. I know people that know people that know people. Those people also know people (sic).
