(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Emma Bunton has revealed the moment she got engaged was perfect.

The former Spice Girls singer has been with former singer Jade Jones for around 14 years and he finally popped the question last month. Emma is currently expecting a baby with Jade, and the pair already have three-year-old son Beau. She admits she was beginning to give up hope of ever getting married and wasnt expecting a marriage proposal.

It was on my birthday and we had friends round, my mum was there and my little boy was on my lap. It was absolutely perfect, he couldnt have done it any better, Emma revealed during an interview on British television show Loose Women. He went down on one knee and picked the ring himself, he did everything! It was just amazing.

I didnt have a clue, I had been waiting all this time and I thought it was never going to happen.

Even though Emma and Jade have been dating for years, they still have fun together. The 35-year-old star has explained they keep the spark alive by making sure they spend quality time together whenever they can.

With Jade and I, we are such good friends. We have children together, we feel so settled and I just think it felt like the next thing to do. There was no pressure on it, she explained. I dont get bored but I think you have to get used to there is going to be routine, especially with children. But we make time for date nights and he goes out with the boys, but we love each others company.

It is not yet known when the pair are planning to get married, but Emma will have her hands full for the next few months as she prepares for the arrival of her baby. The star is expecting a boy and she says the unborn tot is already proving he has boundless energy levels.

I cant stop holding my bump at the moment, there is a lot of movement. I am getting kicked all the time! she laughed. I am due at the end of April, so there is a lot going on in there. (C) Cover Media
