(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Emma Bunton gave birth to a boy this morning.

The former Spice Girls singer announced the happy news on her Twitter page. The new arrival is the second son for Emma and her fianc Jade Jones, who already have three-year-old Beau together.

Our beautiful son Tate has arrived safe and sound! We are all so happy and excited. Thanks and love to you all. Xx (sic), she wrote on the social networking website.

Emma and Jade have also released an official statement, explaining how excited they are to be parents again.

Emma Bunton and Jade Jones are delighted to announce the birth of their second child, a baby boy called Tate. He was born on 6 May 2011 and weighed in at 7lbs, it read.

Both mother and baby are doing well and the family are over the moon and would like to thank everyone for their kind wishes and support.

Emma and Jade announced they were expecting the new arrival in November. They got engaged January after 11 years together. (C) Cover Media
