(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Emma Watson thinks love should be the most "important and special" thing in people's lives.
The actress is currently single, having split from musician George Craig last year. She may not have a boyfriend but Emma is looking forward to meeting Mr. Right, explaining she doesn't think there's anything wrong with getting excited about love.
The star enjoys reading novels about romance, and wishes real-life relationships could be like her books.
"I'm a feminist, but I think that romance has been taken away a bit for my generation. I think what people connect with in novels is this idea of an overpowering, encompassing love - and it being more important and special than anything and everything else," she told US Vogue.
"I would love to not date someone in the same industry as me. Otherwise it becomes what it means to everyone else."
Emma famously enrolled at Brown University in America after deciding she wanted time away from the limelight. However, this year she announced she was putting her studies on hold. She is currently promoting the final Harry Potter movie due out later this year and will continue her degree at a UK university in the coming months.
She has previously admitted that deciding to study was her way of rebelling and dealing with her fame, although Emma knows it was tough for those around her. She is thankful for the opportunity she was given to play Hermione Granger in the famous wizard franchise, but still struggles with the way it's changed her life. She was chosen for the part when she was nine, with the first movie hitting screens when she was 11.
"I have had no control over my life. I have lived in a complete bubble. They found me and picked me for the part. And now I'm desperately trying to find my way through it," she explained.
"I have felt for the last ten years I have had this battle; I've been fighting so hard to have an education. It's been this uphill struggle. I was Warner Bros.' pain in the butt. I was their scheduling conflict. I was the one who made life difficult. I just realised at one point that I can't fight everything. I have to move in the direction of it - and go with it."
