(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Eva Longoria says Victoria Beckham is popular in America because she’s “very funny.”

Eva, best known for her role in the television series Desperate Housewives, has become a good friend of Victoria’s, since the singer-turned-fashion designer moved to Los Angeles in 2007 with her soccer star husband David and their three sons; Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, eight, and five-year-old Cruz.

It is now believed the Beckhams will live in Los Angeles permanently after reports surfaced that the couple are planning to put their UK mansion on the market.

Eva thinks Victoria fits in well in the US because of her outgoing personality and warm nature, revealing she often spends evenings in with the star.

“We all love girlie nights together at one another’s houses. She is a great friend. She’s very loyal and very very, funny. Everyone loves her,” Eva gushed in an interview with British newspaper The Daily Star.

David and Victoria already spend at least six months of the year at their £11million mansion in LA, where their celebrity pals include Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, as well as Eva and her husband Tony Parker.

The Beckham’s grand British mansion in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, was bought in 1999 for £2.5 million and is now thought to be valued at around £18 million. (C) Cover Media
