(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Eva Longoria was devastated when she wrongly heard Dancing with the Stars was ending.

The actress appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week, where she was quizzed about the last season of Desperate Housewives.

Host Jimmy was tongue-tied when he began talking to Eva about the American TV show and accidentally asked how she felt now Dancing with the Stars is finishing. Eva looked on in shock, before Jimmy corrected himself.

"I was like, Oh My God, is it?'" she laughed.

She then began discussing how it feels to be shooting her final scenes as Gabrielle Solis.

"We're very nostalgic. Every episode is bittersweet, it's been eight years which is a really long run, so we're OK with it. It went by like that," she said.

Eva also discussed her political beliefs.

She's a staunch supporter of President Barack Obama, and recently attended a fundraising dinner with him.

The actress is proud of how well the president is doing and hopes the country will continue to give him their support.

"It's a special privilege to meet our commander-in-chief, I'm a big Obama supporter no matter what he's been through he's been beaten up the past couple of years," she said.

"I'm a big advocate for Latino issues. He's been a big listener, he's done a lot of round tables regarding what we want changed." (C) Cover Media
