(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Faith Hill made her triumphant return to music at the Country Music Association (CMA) Awards last night.

The star performed her new single Come Home at the annual ceremony held at the Bridgestone Arena in Tennessee.

The song is the first new material from Faith in six years and will be featured on her upcoming album, which will be released next year.

The singer performed at the CMAs for the first time in five years. She appeared in a sheer black shirt, black pants and red stilettos. The ballad was filled with soul and emotion and the audience rose to their feet to welcome Faith back to country music.

In a recent interview the star revealed what helps inspire her music. Her husband Tim McGraw was top of the list.

"Tim inspires me every day in many, many ways," she told People magazine. "I draw inspiration from his assertiveness and from watching him being a father and a husband."

Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley hosted the ceremony.

The big winner was Taylor Swift who picked up the Entertainer of the Year award. Other stars in attendance included Keith Urban and his wife Nicole Kidman, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton. (C) Cover Media
