Thala Ajith left for Mumbai on Sunday, as he is shooting with Sridevi today for the actress's much awaited comeback movie 'English Vinglish'.

There was a large group of people gathered from 7 am to meet and photograph Ajith.

Ajith who came on the sets from 3:30 in the afternoon was filming till 10 in the night. He waited patiently as all his fans took photographs and working stills of him alongside Nayanthara. 

Ajith was also seen at a studio in Mumbai. 

In the Tamil version of the film, Ajith is doing a cameo. Interestingly, the role was done by Amitabh Bachchan in the Hindi version of the flick.

The film also stars, Adil Hussain, Mehdi Nebbou and Priya Anand. The movie is scheduled to be part of the highly coveted Galas’ section for a world premiere.

'English vinglish' also marks the directorial debut of Gauri Shinde, wife of filmmaker R. Balki who is also the producer of the film.

The movie is going to be premiered on September 14.
