A film based on the popular Indian poet Sahir Ludhianvi has been in news for quite some time now. Previous week, we told you how the filmmaker chose Sonakshi Sinha over Priyanka Chopra for the role of Sahir Ludhianvi's love interest Amrita Pritam.

And now rumour has it that Pakistani actor Fawad Afzal Khan has been approached for the lead role in the film. While Fawad will apparently play Sona's husband Imroz, the makers are yet to finalise an actor to play an on screen Sahir.   

It's a love triangle about a poet, who stays with his ladylove for 14 years without a wedlock. Whereas Fawad already has girls drooling over him, post his Bollywood debut, Sonakshi has wowed her fans with her marvellous performance in the period romantic drama 'Lootera'.
