After Sridevi's demise, another dark news bothers the Bollywood industry and it is the 'Andaz Apna Apna' director Rajkumar Santoshi who has been hospitalised to Mumbai's Nanavati hospital due to cardiac related issues as per reports. The veteran director was spotted last evening at Sridevi's funeral to pay last respect.
A hospital official said, "He has been admitted to the hospital for a heart-related problem. We can't share any further information at the moment." Sridevi and Santoshi lately worked on the film 'Halla Bol' which featured the 54-year-old in a special appearance role. It is extremely heartfelt and concerning that another member of the industry is crucial we do wish him a quick recovery.
The director began his filmmaking career with Govind Nihlani's "Ardh Satya" (1982), and went on to give huge hits like Sunny Deol's 'Ghayal', 'Damini' and the cult comedy of Aamir Khan and Salman Khan starrer 'Andaz Apna Apna'. He returned with his director's hat in 2013 with 'Phata Poster Nikhla Hero' starring Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D'Cruz.
The director has also bagged National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi for his patriotic film 'The Legend of Bhagat Singh'.
