(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Rebecca Gayheart and husband Eric Dane welcomed their second child on Wednesday.

The 40-year-old actress and Eric named their new daughter Georgia Geraldine.

The couple are elated to welcome their newborn at such a festive time of the year.

"Rebecca Gayheart and husband Eric Dane welcomed Georgia Geraldine Dane on December 28, just in time for the New Year!" the pair's representative told People magazine.

Everyone in the family is excited to bring in 2012 with baby Georgia.

"Both mom and baby girl are happy and healthy, Billie is thrilled to be a big sister, and dad is getting ready to live in a house full of ladies!" the rep gushed.

Rebecca has spoken before about how much she enjoys motherhood.

"It's been amazing. It's challenging, but [being a mum is] the greatest thing ever," she told OK! magazine this summer.

Grey's Anatomy star Eric and Rebecca were married in 2004.

The pair also have 22-month-old daughter Billie Beatrice together.
