(Cover) - EN Star Style - Gemma Arterton uses music to prepare for modelling shoots.

The 25-year-old actress is best known for her roles in films such as Clash of the Titans, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Tamara Drewe. The British star recently modelled for denim brand G-Star to launch their new spring/summer fashion campaign, working with acclaimed Dutch photographer Anton Corbijn.

The stunning brunette says that she and Anton prepared for their shoot by listening to music on an iPod that they had with them at all times.

I loved it. Anton in hilarious, he took his iPod everywhere, which was great because music loosens me up. We had old Prince and early 80s playing, she told Glamour magazine.

Despite her glitzy lifestyle, Gemma has admitted that G-Star cast her for the campaign because of her tough childhood growing up. The star and her younger sister were brought up by their single mother on a council estate after her parents divorced when she was just five years old.

Im so passionate about this. Im an actress in a glamorous world, but I have a tough, real background. That contradiction is what G-Star is aiming for and they chose me. Thats what they said, anyway! she laughed. (C) Cover Media
