George Clooney says his hair is the secret behind his success with women.

The Hollywood heartthrob is famed for dating a bevy of beautiful women over the years, including Elisabetta Canalis and British model Lisa Snowdon.

George has joked that his silver locks are the reason he is so popular with the ladies. However, the 50-year-old denied that his romantic liaisons reached a four-figure number.

"How do I charm so many women? I bet it's the hair!" he told German magazine Emotion. "But obviously it's not true that I have seduced 1,000 women!"

The actor also explained why he hasn't started a family yet.

George is currently dating former WWE wrestler Stacey Keibler, 32. Despite feeling happy in his relationship, George has revealed he doesn't feel a desire to have children.

"If you want kids it should come from the bottom of your heart. But I don't have this urge so I shouldn't do it," he said.
