(Cover) - EN Showbiz - George Clooney used to pretend to be Arnold Schwarzenegger to get quick room service in hotels.
The Hollywood star is well-known for having a good sense of humour and enjoys joking around with people. One of his favourite games is to take on an alias when staying overnight somewhere.
He quickly tired of using silly names though, so started pretending to be action hero Arnold. He loved it when people would fall for his prank and believe he actually was the hulking Austrian star.
"When you go to a hotel, no matter what alias you use, all the people at the hotel have to use it - so I'd always go as Arnold Schwarzenegger," he laughed to Life & Style at the premiere of his movie The Ides of March.
"The hotel staff would always go, 'Right away, Mr. Schwarzenegger.' I would ask for room service, and they'd say, 'Yes, Mr. Schwarzenegger,' and it made me laugh. But I had to change that!"
George is renowned for playing practical jokes on people. He sometimes keeps his pranks running for months and months, and is currently planning a big one involving Brad Pitt.
"I'm in the middle of [getting him] right now, and it's going to kill him," he laughed. "But I can't tell you [what it is]."
The Hollywood star is always happy to talk about jokes, but his private life is another matter. He rarely comments on stories about himself, and has no time for gossip.
There were recent reports that he is becoming increasingly close to Sandra Bullock, and that he and the stars of The Ides of March ended up skinny-dipping together in Italy. George referenced them briefly, just to show how silly they were.
"Yes, I'm going to adopt Sandy. That's what I'm doing," he deadpanned to Extra.
"[As for skinny-dipping] they weren't fully naked, which is unfortunate, but there were people jumping in. I've never skinny dipped in that lake."
Star of the movie Marisa Tomei quickly added: "He didn't... but we imagined he did." (C) Cover Media
