The 26-year-old pop star is the face of ghd hair tools and sports an array of classic hairstyles in the brands Iconic Eras of Style campaign.

Shot by acclaimed photographer David LaChapelle, the songstress works looks from the 50s, 70s and 80s, and the ghd team have revealed how Katys fans can recreate the aesthetic.

To work the Hollywood bombshell style, the ghd hair experts told Stylist a ghd Gold Classic styler must be taken to the root of the tresses and rotated at 180 degrees before being glided to the end this will create the curl.

For a stronger, longer lasting curl, roll each section back to the roots and secure with a bobby pin, added the ghd experts.

Allow the hair to cool for five to ten minutes. Release the bobby pins, allowing the hair to fall naturally and run your fingers through from root to ends. Spritz with hairspray for extra hold.
