Despite of pulling off performance oriented films with ease, Vidya Balan is nervous about 'Ghanchakkar', a light hearted comedy.

She has been recently signed for the film opposite Emraan Hashmi and she is not only excited, but also a lot nervous for the same. 

Though she has been a part of a comic caper (Lagey Raho Munnabhai) in the past, she didn't toy with comedy in it per se. 

However, in 'Ghanchakkar' she will try her hand at humor instead of just being the romantic interest of the protagonist. And Vidya is extremely nervous to do comedy for the very first time in her career. 

"It will be my first comedy film and so I'm very nervous about it," said Vidya who was recently announced as the brand ambassador of International Indian film festival at Melbourne. 

Vidya revealed that the film will release early next year as they haven't started the work on it yet, "Ghanchakkar will release next year since we haven't started work on it yet. We are hoping to start shooting in August."
