Give me multilingual – Puneeth Rajakumar

1st July 2011
The power star No1 of Kannada cinema Puneeth Rajakumar intends to do a multilingual film provided one of the versions of the movie is made in Kannada, he insists.

The reason for Puneeth Rajakumar thinking along this line is because he has huge fan following in the border areas of Karnataka and his films made in Kannada are dubbed in Telugu and Malayalam languages. 'Milana', 'Prithvi', 'Jackie' were fed to non Kannadigas in adjacent states.

Currently working for 'Paramathma' the expectation is that the first combination of Puneeth Rajakumar and Yogaraj Bhat would make a business of Rs.20 crores before release. Both the actor and director have not seen failures and this is a major plus point.

Since Puneeth Rajakumar made his debut in 'Appu' in 2011, till the recently released 'Hudugaru', all his 14 films have been super hits. Like that, Yogaraj Bhat too, from his debut 'Mungaru Male' in 2006, has not given any failures so far. His films 'Gaalipata', 'Manasaare', 'Pancharangi' have rocked at the box-office.
