(Cover) - EN Showbiz - The intruder who has twice been spotted on Halle Berry's property could be an "obsessed fan" it has been claimed, as more details emerge.

Halle called police for the second time yesterday after noticing the man roaming around the grounds of her Los Angeles home.

American website TMZ reported law enforcement showed up to the star's Hollywood property with "three cars and even a helicopter" but the intruder had already made himself scarce.

The LAPD have now revealed to the US publication that Halle was in the kitchen yesterday "when she looked out the window and saw a man staring at her, holding some sort of book," which has led them to believe that the suspect is an obsessed fan, "hell-bent" on getting the Oscar-winning actress' autograph.

They have not ruled out the man being a member of the paparazzi, however.

Halle, 44, had to contact police for the first time on Saturday when the intruder was seen scaling the wall onto her property. He was then spotted lurking around in her front yard. Several people inside the house saw the man and ran outside, but he had already jumped back over the wall and fled the scene.

Sources say that the LAPD are continuing to investigate the incident. (C) Cover Media
