October 14, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): George Michael is just out after serving four weeks behind bars and the latest reports on the iconic pop star say that he has checked into a rehabilitation center to get over his addiction to drugs. While some tabloids have quoted the singer as saying that he wants to quit drugs and lead a normal life, the reason for which he is in rehab, George Michaels partner Kenny Goss vehemently protests against the reports, branding them as rumors. The report, a rumor or otherwise, spread when George Michael was seen leaving his home in London, where he is now serving a four week period of license, in the wee hours of the morning. The singer supposedly did not return home.

Reporters waiting outside the singers London home were told by the singer himself that he was on his way to a treatment clinic in search of a cure for his addiction. George Michael also said that he was aware that he did something very wrong and did not want to end up repeating the same mistake all over again. He had experienced jail life and branded it as horrible, so the only way to end up landing behind the prison bars once again was to receive proper medication, said the Wham singer.

However, Kenny Goss refuses to believe the reports terming them as utter nonsense. The singers partner is of the opinion that George Michael is to some place where he can rest a while! George Michael was in prison for driving under the influence of cannabis.
