(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Heidi Klum says she never uses foul language in front of her children, saying she wants them to be proper.

The supermodel raises four kids with her husband Seal six-year-old Leni, Henry, five, Johan, four and 15 month-old Lou. She wants her brood to be well-spoken and polite and believes in is important to instil good manners in children from a young age.

Even though Heidi sometimes gets angry and feels the urge to let off steam by cursing, she makes sure her young kids are never in earshot.

When were around the children, we really make a point in our family to not curse or say potty words, Klum told People. My husband and I try our best to make sure our kids are proper and have good manners. Theyre already saying things that they shouldnt be saying at their age.

The 37-year-old beauty went on to reveal she has heard some of her older children use bad language around her. Heidi is quick to reprimand her brood when that does happen as she wants them to know it isnt right for them to say certain words.

Leni will sometimes come home and say, What the And I say, Leni, What the isnt a sentence. Its inappropriate and you cant say it, Heidi added. Im not saying Im a saint by any means. When Im with grown-ups and were out, I curse sometimes and we say some inappropriate things. But when were at home, my husband and I try our best to make sure our children are proper and have good manners.

The German model is currently promoting her new television programme Seriously Funny Kids, in which she plays jokes on youngsters. (C) Cover Media
