Heidi Klum's new boyfriend is "sensitive, caring and loyal", it has been claimed.

The German supermodel is dating her bodyguard Martin Kristen, who has worked with her over the last four years.

Her new relationship comes following her split from her husband Seal in January.

"Martin is sensitive, caring and loyal everything Heidi is looking for in a man. He's been there for her through the worst of times. She seems to be in love with him and he's obviously smitten too," an insider told Closer magazine.

Seal hit headlines around the world when he accused Heidi of "fornicating with the help" during their marriage, following pictures of her and Martin on holiday. He has since insisted his remarks were taken out of context.

Heidi's loved ones apparently back her new romance completely.

"Her family approve of him. They've seen how he's looked after Heidi and would do anything for her," the source explained. "He's regarded as one of the family."
