Nikhil Advani's 'Hero' featuring debutants Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty doesn't match the audiences' expectations.

The film has made only 13.47 crore in 2 days. Released on September 11 it opened with 6.85 crore on Friday and then dipped to 6.62 crore on Saturday.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, ":#Hero biz doesn't witness growth on Sat. However, Sun should witness an escalation in biz. Fri 6.85 cr, Sat 6.62 cr. Total: ? 13.47 cr."

Remake of Subhash Ghai's hit film of the same title was backed by Salman Khan. He played an important role in getting these star kids the desired amount of buzz in the media before its release.
