(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Hilary Duff says she doesn't mind the dirtier parts of motherhood.

The 24-year-old singer and actress gave birth to son Luca Cruz just 10 weeks ago and is a natural at caring for her child.

She told People magazine that it may not be the favourite job for some parents but she doesn't mind cleaning up after her baby boy.

"I love changing diapers!" Hilary exclaimed. "I'm really good at it. I've got it down."

"There are so many fantastic things [about motherhood]. Everything's been really wonderful, and the time's just been flying by. I want it to slow down.

"It's a challenging job, and the reward is so great and I feel so empowered. Knowing what your kid wants when he cries is the best feeling in the world."

Hilary is raising her son with husband Mike Comrie and says that she is ready to get back to work.

"Next week I'm taking meetings with different producers and writers and getting that process started again," she explained. "I'm ready. I'm taking my time because I want it to be right."' (C) Cover Media
