(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Hilary Duff wants a "ruby ring" for her wedding anniversary, but would "feel bad" about asking her husband for it.

The actress-and-singer wed hockey star Mike Comrie in August 2010. Sunday marks their first year anniversary and Hilary is still contemplating what she would like to receive.

"I would love a ruby," Hilary told E! at Kendra Scott Jewelry's grand opening in Beverly Hills this week. "You know what? There's this green [Yves Saint Laurent] bag that I've kind of been hinting at lately that I really want, so maybe he'll get the hint. But if not, I'll still love him."

Hilary insists she will love whatever Mike decides to give her. She has already been on the receiving end of numerous presents and she is not inclined to ask him for anything more.

"He's a really good gift giver," the 23-year-old explained. "He just bought me another car, so I don't think I actually need anything. I would feel bad for asking."

Besides exchanging gifts the couple have nothing particularly spectacular planned. Hilary and Mike are more interested in a bit of leisurely cuddling than extravagant celebrations.

"We're thinking we're just going to go get a great hotel room outside of L.A. and do spa days and enjoy ourselves," Hilary said. "We're going to be lazy."

In terms of future plans for their relationship, starting a family is a strong possibility. The two are not rushing into having children though, because they are enjoying being newlyweds too much.

"I think it was important to us that we had a year to just do whatever," Hilary added. "And maybe longer than that because we enjoy having so much freedom. But we're thinking about it." (C) Cover Media
