After spending more than a decade in the industry, Bollywood superstar John Abraham graduated to a filmmaker from just an actor. The star, who till date has given superhits like 'Dhoom', 'Garam Masala', 'Dostana', 'Force', recently made his debut as a producer with the film 'Vicky Donor' that was one of the few sleeper hits of this year.

The film not only proved to be a commercial hit, but was a superhit with critics who lauded John's plunge to back such a crucial-issue based film.

Though he is still very new as a producer, he has already lined up quite a few interesting projects for the future.

John recently revealed what made him take the plunge, "When you are an actor you are just a means to an end and not the end in itself. So I decided to produce films and I wanted to be a hands-on producer, most actors produce films which they only act in. I wanted to make sure that I make the films I believe in even if the cast is otherwise," said John.

After 'Vicky Donor' they have 'Jaffna', 'Hamara Bajaj' and 'Kala Ghoda' lined up for the making. Apart from these which are announced already, John revealed that there are three more which he may finalize for his production soon.
