(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ian Ziering is excited to be expecting his first child.

The Beverly Hills 90210 actor has announced that he and his wife Erin are expecting a baby girl, and the couple are both thrilled about the prospect.

The 46-year-old admitted that having a baby is a life-long dream for him and his spouse, who he married in May.

The nurse is already way past the first trimester of her pregnancy and heading for the half-way mark.

"Erin and I are very excited to be parents. It's something we both have always wanted," he said in a statement to the People. "[Erin] is four-and-a-half-months along, and we both are beyond excited."

The blond-haired, blue-eyed actor has been loved up since tying the knot with dark-haired Erin on Newport Beach in California. Ian admitted that wedded bliss is suiting him very well, and his life couldnt be happier.

"Being married, I don't know how to describe it, he said recently. It's very comfortable when you find the right person. It all comes together beautifully." (C) Cover Media
