All eyes were on the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai, for maestro Ilayaraja, after a long haitus, performed live-in concert recently. He was accompanied by popular singers and musicians from all over the world.

The show titled "Endrendrum Raja" was organised by Jaya TV.  Jaya TV had run special contests for the show and announced the winners recently. The channel had made grand arrangements for the event.

Elated after performing live in front of the audience, Ilayaraja said, 'I tried something different, besides playing some of the already popular songs. It gives me great joy to perform in front my fans".

Says an ardent fan of Ilayaraja, 'I was counting hours for the show. For us, Ilayaraja is the God of music and no one can even dream of becoming like him. His contribution to the field of music is unmatchable.'
