I'm here for the long run: Ranbir Kapoor

16th July 2012

Ranbir Kapoor stepped in Bollywood five years ago with his film 'Saawariya' that released in 2007. Though the film terribly tanked at box office, it gave the industry a star in the name of Ranbir who went on to do various breathtaking roles in his films.

He played a Casanova in 'Bachna Ae Haseno', a game changer in 'Raajneeti', a lover boy in 'Ajab Prem ki Gajab Kahani' a troubled lover in 'Rockstar', and the list can go on.

Ranbir has played each role with equal conviction and panache and has gained critical acclaim every single time. But despite of this glorious track record, Ranbir is craving for more.

The actor who has been successful with most of his experiments till date, claims that he is here to stay, "I'm here for the long run," said Ranbir who further added that he wants to do every film that is in the pipeline. He who plays a happy-go-lucky deaf-mute conman in 'Barfi' exclaims that as an actor he is a very greedy person who wants it all, "I'm very greedy and wish I were in every film. There's lots left to do," added Ranbir.

Apart from Barfi's release he also has Anurag Kashyap's 'Bombay Velvet' and Abhinav Kashyap's 'Beshram' lined up.
