Seems like actor Imran Khan has been bestowed with immense lady luck. He has been invited for an official dinner, to be hosted by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in honour of the visiting Prime Minister of the Republic of Mauritius, Dr Navinchandra Ramgoolam, and his wife Veena.
Apparently, Dr Ramgoolam had asked to meet Imran from other Bollywood’s film stars since Imran’s films such as "Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na" and "I Hate Luv Storys" have a huge fan following in Mauritius.
“Imran has become a well-known Bollywood face in Mauritius. He is excited to have been invited by the PM, since not many get this honour so early in their career. He’s making sure he doesn’t miss out on the opportunity,” says a source close to the actor.
Since Imran is in Delhi for the promotions of "Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu" .He is discussing the schedule with Karan,” says a source.
When contacted, Imran says, “It’s a great honour to be invited for dinner by PM. Since I am in the middle of promotions, I have requested Karan to give me a couple of hours off to attend the special event.” A few days ago, Kolaveri di star Dhanush was invited by the PM for an official gala in honour of the Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda.
