A double role in the 2009 film 'Kaminey', Shahid Kapoor proved himself as one of the best actors of the year. Co-starring with actress Priyanka Chopra, Sasha became the toast of the town as he was also nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor.

However, it is heard that Vishal Bhardwaj who directed the film is soon planning a sequel to it. But this time he has decided to replace Shahid with Imran Khan.

A source close to the director stated that Vishal was awed by Imran's performance in his latest film 'Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola' and hence he wants to cast him instead of Shahid. Unfortunately Sasha has been losing out on a lot of films to different actors.

Recently, Vishal has been highly praising his new actor. It was also heard that he ended up comparing Imran with Saif Ali Khan.

Now only time will tell if Vishal's new favourite will live up to his expectations.
