Bollywood's successful cross over star Irrfan Khan has played many pivotal roles in Hollywood films. And now he is yet again being considered to play a key role in the next installment of 'The Amazing Spider-Man' series. 

Irrfan played Dr. Rajit Ratha in 'The Amazing Spider-Man' (2012). And now we hear that the actor might play one of the baddies in the third installment of the same series as well. 

The third film of the franchise is scheduled for a 2016 release and the makers are keen to sign Irrfan. He is being considered to play one of the Sinister Six, a group of villains that is hinted at the end of recently released 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2'. 

After working on the first installment of the same series, Irrfan developed a great rapport with the film's director Marc Webb, a reason why he is being considered for the film yet again. 

While Irrfan refused to acknowledge the development, the production house helming the film shunned the chance to confirm at this moment.
