(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jake Gyllenhaal says Anne Hathaway is blossoming as an actress because she is following her instincts.

The 30-year-old actor stars alongside Anne in new comedy Love and Other Drugs. Jake thinks that she is improving at her craft due to her ability to pick suitable roles and then grow into them.

I think there is a moment as an actor or an actress where you are going to follow commerce, follow your instincts, and I think she is at that point now. She is deciding to follow her artistic instinct, Jake explained.

Jake believes the 28-year-old actress - who also shared the screen with him in Brokeback Mountain - is a stronger person than she once was. He feels as though her time has come to shine on the big stage.

She is coming into her own, she is braver than she was, she is getting clearer and clearer, he added.

Speaking about the central topic of Love and Other Drugs, Jake went on to discuss the impact romantic relationships can have on younger people. He believes that because many of these amorous experiences can be new, some couples feel more pressure.

Love is definitely blinding, especially when you are in your 20s, the stakes can be really high. It is so great and so awesome at any age, but in your 20s there is a seriousness to it and you have to deal with responsibilities for the first time, he commented. (C) Cover Media
