Jake shares lead vocals with style icon Ana Matronic in American pop/rock band scissor Sisters, and the musicians are famously unafraid to speak their minds.

Jake and Ana have revealed they werent huge fans of British pop star Lily when they first met, but both singers agree how much they like her now.

I did not like her at all when I first met her. It was in New York two years before her first album came out, she would come to New York to see a friend of ours and we would go out for dinner. She was very sullen and sulky.

She told me she was recording an album and I was rolling my eyes and going, Yeah, go for it girl. You go be a pop star, good luck with that. And then of course, I was so wrong, he blushed in an interview with More! magazine.

But Ive grown to love her.

Ana says she too struggled to bond with Lily at first, mainly because they shared different opinions on punk music. The stylish star says the pair have cleared up any differences they previously had, and Ana now understands Lilys personality better.

She supported us in 2006 before she was well-known. Her attitude was relatively the same as it is now. The first time I met her we had a fight about punk rock. But our relationship has improved since then, explained the beautiful singer. (C) Cover Media
