(Cover) - EN Showbiz - James McAvoy "nearly killed" his X-Men: First Class co-star Michael Fassbender when they drove around the film set in a caddy car.
The two actors enjoyed clowning around together during the making of the hotly anticipated action picture which is set for international release next month.
James has revealed an embarrassing moment where he caused his co-star an injury when taking him for a quick ride in a caddy, although he refuses to accept he drives badly.
"Well, it wasn't so much a practical joke but I nearly killed Michael Fassbender one day in a golf cart," he told ET at the movie's New York premiere. "The rest of that story shall remain with me."
"The line between bad and exceptionally talented is very fine," he added, when asked if he lacks skills behind the wheel.
Despite James not wanting to give away too many details, Michael was happy to discuss the ordeal. The actor doesn't hold a grudge, and actually counts the crash as one of his favourite X-Men: First Class memories.
"We tried to steal the caddy cars as often as possible. We'd try and get our hands on any vehicle around the set," he smiled.
"The funniest memory is when James actually wrote one of them off and gave me a scar - I think probably for life. That's the result of being thrown over the back end of a caddy car into the front seat cos James crashed it into the back of a Lexus." (C) Cover Media
