(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jennifer Aniston has laughed off claims she is adopting a Mexican child.

Rumours had been flying around lately that the 41-year-old actress was planning to open her home to a child, with reports claiming she had been visiting an orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico.

Jennifer has made light of the claims, teasing that her Just Go with It co-star Adam Sandler is the one who has been increasing his family.

During the taping of an interview for Thursdays edition of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jennifer was asked whether she planned to adopt another pet pooch.

"I think you're confusing that with the Mexican child I'm supposedly adopting," responded Jennifer.

Of course, the star was only fooling around, and when host Ellen probed her on that comment the actress replied; "No, I'm not adopting a Mexican child."

She did however tease that Adam "adopted four last week and that never even got mentioned, before reaffirming; No, I'm not adopting any children.

Jennifer also went back to the initial question over her plans for a new pet. In the past the animal lover has rescued pooches from non-profit organisation Saving Spot in Los Angeles, although she has no plans to add to her pet family for the moment.
