(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jennifer Aniston is excited to appear as a Dixie Chick in her upcoming musical movie.

The 42-year-old American actress is famed for her roles in romantic comedies including The Break Up, Along Came Polly, and most recently Just Go With It. The star is now looking forward to a new challenge as she is fast-tracking her non-comedy movie career.

She is to appear in a picture called The Goree Girls, which is based on a true story. The movie will document a 1940s female country-western band that formed in a Texas prison, and Jennifer described the group as "sort of the Dixie Chicks of their time".

Jennifer - who received an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Awards for her portrayal of Rachel Green in sitcom Friends first signed to the release in 2009 and it was due to start shooting last year but was held up. She has now confirmed it will be the next project she takes on.
