(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jennifer Love Hewitt has split from her boyfriend, she has confirmed.

The 32-year-old actress had been dating actor-and-director Alex Beh for nearly a year before they called time on their romance. Although there were rumours the relationship was in trouble, Jennifer has now announced she is single again.

Shes doing fine, says a representative for Jennifer. "They haven't been dating for a little while."

It has been reported the break up took place around a month ago, it is not yet known what triggered the split.

Jennifer and Alex were due to work together in Chicago. They had reportedly planned to star as former lovers in the movie Warren, which Alex was also set to direct and produce.

The pair were first spotted together in July 2010, after Jennifer had split from her Ghost Whisperer co-star Jamie Kennedy in March.

Jennifer appeared to be smitten with her new man, even revealing she had already picked out an engagement ring.

"I actually have three [rings picked out] because I feel like I'm doing the guy a favour," Jennifer told Ellen DeGeneres. "I feel women are very confusing. We never know what we want and we're not very good at nailing that down for them. And I feel like I don't want to be upset if he picks a bad ring.'"

Jennifer has previously dated her Ghost Whisperer co-star Jamie Kennedy, Ross McCall, John Mayer and Carson Daly and has claimed she has been unlucky in love.

The star wrote self-help book The Day I Shot Cupid: Hello, My Name Is Jennifer Love Hewitt and I'm a Love-aholic. The tome detailed her love life, including some embarrassing admissions about the lengths she has gone to in the search for Mr. Right. (C) Cover Media
