Jersey Shore cast discuss hurricane party

29th August 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - The cast of Jersey Shore would have held a "lights-out party" if faced with Hurricane Irene.

Much of the east coast including New York City and the New Jersey shoreline was shut down in the wake of Hurricane Irene this weekend. By mayoral order many neighbourhoods in New York City were evacuated.

While the east coast was bracing for the hurricane, the Jersey Shore cast were jetting to the west coast in preparation for the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in Los Angeles. Instead of focusing on the damage the hurricane may cause, Pauly D and friends would rather paint the town.

"We'd have a lights-out party," Pauly declared to MTV News.

Pauly D's buddy Ronnie Ortiz-Magro chimed in with some additional suggestions for the party. It would have to be an all-nighter and would require a special cocktail.

"You party for the whole duration," Ronnie continued, "Hey, a bottle of Ron-ron juice, let's go!"

To prepare for safety in wake of the hurricane, the cast has one special bit of advice for east coasters. They advise everyone to stay away from the water.

The fourth season of Jersey Shore premiered in August. (C) Cover Media
